About The Event
Friday, March 25th
6PM- Welcome Party at The Yucca Tap Room consisting of everything that makes our home pub so special. Enjoy an event all about our incredible Arizona craft breweries. Taste a variety of local beers, all while enjoying some live music and stand up. You will receive a merch pack to be excited about! High quality, tri blend T shirt, custom AZG craft beer glass, and other goodies to prepare you for your weekend with the Arizona Gooners. Comes in the perfect bag for the Cactus League clear bag policy.
Saturday, March 26th
10 AM- We're kicking off the day at the famous (and some say quite haunted) Casey Moore's Oyster House for yummy food, great drinks, and an open patio. The original structure was built in 1910 by the Moeur Family, predominant figures in the development of Tempe and its early educational systems. The family home still stands, and Casey's (and their Bloody Marys) is a Tempe tradition.
12 PM- Jump on the charter busses for a comfortable ride out west to Goodyear Ballpark for Cactus League Spring Training! We will be watching the Cleveland Indians take on the Chicago Cubs from our own party patio. With beautiful weather and open air views, its perfect for the die-hards and casual fans alike.
*** With the MLB lockout a very real possibility, our back up is the always entertaining Arizona State University baseball team.
6 PM- We want you to see everything our city has to offer, so after the game the buses will be dropping us at Boondocks Patio in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale for drinks or dinner. From there, feel free to explore one of the most popular downtown destinations in the country.
Sunday, March 27th**
8AM- If you are choosing to participate, Meet us at the Continental Golf Club for our Cannon Classic Golf Tournament! More information on the tournaments purchase page.
11AM- If golf isn't your thing, feel free to join in our group walk in Papago Park!
12 PM- After wrapping up the Grand Cannon Classic, we will be giving away the great prizes from our fundraiser and catering a Send Off Lunch! What better way to end your weekend with the Arizona Gooners, then raising money for a great cause and winning some amazing prizes?
(There will be arrangements made to store luggage if you will be heading directly to the airport.)
